3PL for Ecommerce FulfillmentCommercive vs AutoDS vs Zendrop: Pricing, Speed, Reviews, and Which Fits
By Santosh Kumar, Founder of Shopiator

What a 3PL does for ecommerce, and how Commercive compares with AutoDS and Zendrop on price, speed, reviews, and fit by order volume.
A 3PL for ecommerce stores your inventory, picks and packs each order, and ships it to your customer. Dropshipping tools like AutoDS and Zendrop do something different: AutoDS automates ordering from suppliers, and Zendrop is a supplier platform. Commercive sits in between: a private sourcing and fulfillment agent that runs its own warehouses. Its Whop page has an FAQ that asks exactly how it differs from AutoDS and Zendrop, so we read the vendors' own pages, their pricing, the Whop reviews, and the 3PL guides Google ranks to build a comparison for ecommerce brands.
What a 3PL Does for an Ecommerce Brand
A third-party logistics provider receives your inventory, stores it, picks and packs each order, buys shipping labels at its carrier rates, and often handles returns. Third-party guides, including Rush Order's and Ecom Auto Prep's, describe the usual charges as pick and pack fees, receiving fees, storage fees, packaging materials, and outbound shipping billed separately. Rush Order puts typical ecommerce pick, pack, and packaging at $5 to $12 per order. Ecom Auto Prep lists receiving at $25 to $60 per pallet, and warns about onboarding fees of $500 to $2,000, monthly minimums of $500 to $1,500, and technology fees of $100 to $500 a month. These are vendor-published guides, so treat the ranges as a starting point for quotes. For a wider ranking of US 3PLs, see the best 3PL providers for ecommerce, rated by operators.
The same guides say most brands need roughly 500 to 1,000 or more orders a month before outsourcing pays off, and that switching takes 4 to 8 weeks. Dropshipping brands do not hold inventory, so for them the question is different: how fast and how cheaply a supplier ships.

Commercive: Two Products Under One Name
Commercive sells two things, and mixing them up causes confusion. The first is the membership on Whop at $29.99 a month, or $297 a year, with a 7-day trial. Inside its private Discord you get access to an agent team for unlimited supplier quotes, sourcing, and worldwide fulfillment, and VIP WhatsApp support at 10 or more orders a day. The Whop FAQ says delivery is 6 to 12 days for most of the world and for the USA, and that to start fulfilling after a first sale you open a ticket in Discord and the team connects its app to your store.

The second is Commercive's own fulfillment service at commercive.co, for scaling brands shipping at least 10 orders a day. It describes four services: sourcing and manufacturing, dropshipping, China 3PL, and US 3PL. Commercive says it was founded in 2020 and has shipped over 5 million orders, with four warehouses (Wuxi and Hangzhou in China and one in Arkansas in the US), 99.8% order accuracy, 1,845 or more vetted factories, and shipping to 100+ countries. It says orders ship from China to customers in 5 to 8 business days and from its US warehouse in 2 to 4 days, with 24-hour processing, free storage with no storage fees, and no MOQ on products. These are Commercive's claims.
- ▶Pricing: per order and all-inclusive, covering product cost, handling, and shipping to the destination country, according to Commercive.
- ▶Payment terms: available after a relationship is built, or through a finance partner with up to 120 day terms and a monthly percentage fee.
- ▶Branding: custom packaging, inserts, and masked tracking on your own domain, so customers do not see a China origin.
- ▶Software: an in-house dashboard for orders, inventory, tracking, invoices, and landed profit per order, with integrations it lists including Klaviyo, Chargeblast, and Slash.
- ▶Switching: it says it migrates SKU by SKU and runs alongside your current setup, and you can keep your current supplier while testing.
What the Reviews Say
Commercive's Whop listing shows 4.49 stars from 63 ratings: 54 five-star, one four-star, none three-star, one two-star, and 7 one-star, with 1,289 members joined. Positive reviewers praise quick support and delivery. The critical ones are specific, which is useful to know before you start.
"commersive did not fuffil my order even after 5 days. i am scaling my store and there is no structure how anything works. have tried reaching out every day but no response" Whop reviewer Chris Turindwa, written 15 days after purchase.
"only uses their own suppliers" Whop reviewer james leather, written 1 month after purchase.
"Won’t let me cancel the membership from my phone. The website version won’t allow me to cancel without giving a reason but it won’t let me type in a reason." Whop reviewer Solomon, written 9 days after purchase.

Zendrop: Platform First, Private Agent Second
Zendrop's pricing page lists Free ($0), Pro ($49 a month or $399 a year), and Plus ($79 a month or $549 a year) plans, each with access to 1M+ products, 24/7 support, and $100 in order credits, with automated fulfillment on the paid plans. Separately, its Private Agent product targets sellers doing 100+ orders a day. Zendrop says it has two large warehouses in China and 400+ employees, claims quotes that beat suppliers' 99% of the time, offers choice of carrier, a branded tracking page, real-time stock visibility, and no warehousing fees in its China and US 3PLs, and lets you pay by credit card to earn cashback and points. It also lists ad agency accounts and payment processing hold removal among add-ons. Its page positions itself against agents that are middlemen with no US team, which is the same category Commercive operates in.
AutoDS: Software, Not a Warehouse
AutoDS lists Import at $26.90 a month for up to 200 products, Starter at $39.90 for 201 to 500 products with custom sourcing and automatic tracking updates, Advanced at $66.90 for 501 to 1,000 products with up to 3 stores and VIP support, and an Enterprise tier above 1,000 products. It shows annual pricing with a 25% discount and a three-day trial for $0.99. Its pitch is automation: importing products, monitoring price and stock, optimizing titles, and updating tracking. It does not store your inventory, and shipping speed and quality depend on the suppliers behind each product, so it does not solve the delivery-time problem on its own.
Commercive's Own Comparison, and How to Read It
Commercive's community page includes a table with three columns: AliExpress at 20 to 40 days, AutoDS or Zendrop at 10 to 20 days, and Commercive at 5 to 12 days worldwide, with private supplier pricing instead of marked-up wholesale. That is a vendor comparison against the standard tools, and the Whop FAQ summary is the same claim: a private agent gets better pricing and faster shipping than a traditional tool. The comparison does not cover Zendrop's own Private Agent, which makes a similar pitch.
Which One Fits Your Stage
| Your situation | Best fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Testing products, under 10 orders a day | AutoDS or Zendrop free or entry plan, or the Commercive membership | Low monthly cost; Commercive's 3PL needs 10+ orders a day |
| 10 to 100 orders a day | Commercive 3PL or the membership with its agents | Meets its 10+ order minimum; ask for quotes and a trial split |
| 100+ orders a day, dropshipping | Compare Zendrop Private Agent and Commercive quotes | Both target this range; compare landed cost per order |
| Holding your own inventory, 500+ orders a month | A traditional ecommerce 3PL | You need receiving, storage, and pick and pack; compare per-order fees |
| Selling on Amazon, Walmart, and Shopify | A multi-channel 3PL | Needs integrations beyond a dropshipping agent |

The Mainstream 3PLs to Compare Against
Roundups such as Rush Order's, Ecom Auto Prep's, and Kase's list providers like ShipBob for fast-growing DTC brands shipping around 1,000 orders a month or more, Red Stag for heavy or fragile products, Flexport for freight plus two-day delivery, SHIPHYPE for US and Canada shipping on flexible terms, Ryder E-commerce by Whiplash for high-SKU brands, and Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment for Amazon-first sellers. They are better matches than a dropshipping agent when you hold domestic inventory and ship 500 or more orders a month. Get at least three quotes, ask for every fee in writing, and test the integration with your store before you sign.
How to Test Commercive or Any Agent Without Betting the Store
- ▶Send 10 to 20 real orders, not your whole catalog, and keep your current supplier running.
- ▶Order samples to yourself and time delivery from the order date, not the ship date.
- ▶Ask for a written quote that lists product cost, handling, shipping, duties, and any storage or minimums.
- ▶Ask who sources and ships: its own suppliers, subcontractors, or both.
- ▶Confirm how you cancel, and screenshot the steps before paying.
- ▶Check chargeback and returns support in writing.
