What we cover

Shopiator News covers what changes for ecommerce and DTC brands: Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Shopify, Whop and the payment, ad and commerce platforms brands run on. We publish when there is something worth reporting, typically twice a week, and we favour depth over volume.

Who writes it

Every article carries a named author. News is written by Santosh Kumar, founder of Shopiator and a Google Ads operator with 16+ years of experience. His profiles on X and LinkedIn are public.

How we source

  • Primary sources first: company announcements, official documentation, filings and on-the-record posts by the people involved.
  • Figures are checked against at least one independent source. Where sources disagree, we report both and say so.
  • We link to our sources in the article so readers can check them.
  • We never invent quotes, testimonials, names or numbers. Quotes are reproduced word for word.
  • Analysis and opinion are labelled as ours (for example under "Our take"), separate from the reporting.

Client data

When we publish findings from accounts we manage, we share only rate metrics such as CPC, conversion rate and ROAS. We never publish client names, account-level figures or absolute spend and revenue totals.

Corrections and updates

If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction in the article. Material updates change the "Updated" date shown under the headline. To report an error, email ops@shopiator.com.

Affiliate links and independence

Shopiator is a Google Ads agency and some articles contain affiliate or referral links. Those links are marked as sponsored and disclosed at the bottom of the article. Commercial relationships do not decide what we cover or what we conclude, and companies we write about do not review articles before publication.
