Slash Payment Processing for AgenciesAd Spend Cards, Client Virtual Accounts, and Getting Paid by Card
By Santosh Kumar, Founder of Shopiator

What Slash offers marketing and advertising agencies: ad spend cards, client virtual accounts, stablecoin deposits, API, and card payment processing.
Slash has courted advertising and performance marketing agencies for a while with cards built for ad spend, virtual accounts for client funds, and stablecoin deposits. Its September 2026 card processing launch adds a way for agencies to get paid by card on invoices. Service agencies in marketing, advertising, and consulting are named among the initial categories. Here is what Slash says it offers agencies, and what to verify.
What Slash Says Agencies Get
- ▶Cards designed for ads: up to 500+ virtual cards, cashback, low decline rates, and precise controls per team or client.
- ▶Accounts receivable: virtual accounts to segregate client funds and manage collections.
- ▶Stablecoin deposits: clients pay in USDC or USDT on 9+ blockchains without an external off-ramp.
- ▶Developer API: manage cards, groups, transfers, real-time spend authorization, and event webhooks.
- ▶Social proof: a testimonial from Blink Digital says it replaced spreadsheets for its financial backend.
What Card Payments Add for an Agency
Agencies often collect retainers by ACH or wire, but many clients prefer to pay by card for the points. With card acceptance on Slash invoices, an agency can offer that option and have the money land in the same account that pays for ad spend. Card fees will cost something, and the processing rate is unpublished, so some agencies pass the fee on or offer ACH as the default.
Ad Account and Spend Notes
A card does not fix ad account problems. If your agency runs client accounts, see our guides on agency ad accounts and Meta ad account suspensions. A card with a low decline rate helps billing, but account health is separate.
What to Check
- ▶Whether your agency type is approved for processing and what documents Slash asks for.
- ▶The card rate, dispute fee, and payout timing for retainer-size payments.
- ▶Client fund handling: virtual accounts help bookkeeping, so confirm with your accountant how client money should be held.
- ▶Cashback caps and whether ad platform charges qualify.
