Whop Reviews on Trustpilot: Why the Rating Is Paused

Whop's Trustpilot page carries a red warning: the company's rating is unavailable due to a breach of guidelines, and Trustpilot says it removed a number of fake reviews. That does not prove Whop wrote them, but it means you should not trust a headline star score from any site that copies it. Of 3,021 reviews still listed, 65% are five stars, 30% are one star, and only 5% sit in between, with 1,309 posted in the last 12 months.

On the App Store the picture is far warmer: 4.8 out of 5 from about 58,000 ratings, ranked #108 in Lifestyle when we checked. One reviewer updated a negative review after a dispute, writing that Whop "resolved my issue with the refunding of the original purchase price" and removed the seller. App ratings skew toward buyers who had a smooth purchase, so read them alongside Trustpilot, not instead of it.

Reddit discussions in trading, crypto, and side-hustle communities tend to land in the same place. Whop as a checkout platform is treated as legitimate: payments work, access is delivered, and buyers can open disputes. The warnings are about two things: sellers, since Whop hosts many trading signal, betting, and make-money groups of mixed quality, and payouts, where some sellers describe balances frozen during account reviews that can run for months.

Yes, if you sell a real product and follow the rules. Whop charges 2.7% plus 30 cents per domestic card sale with no monthly fee, and pays out to 200+ countries. Protect yourself: read the reserve and payout terms, keep refund rates low, avoid prohibited categories, and withdraw regularly instead of leaving a large balance sitting in the account.

As a buyer of make-money courses or groups

Be skeptical. The platform is real, but it does not vouch for income claims. Treat these as red flags: guaranteed returns or income screenshots with no context, a free trial that turns into a paid plan you did not notice, pressure to join before a timer runs out, and sellers with few reviews or a brand-new store. Check the product's own reviews and the refund policy on the checkout page before you pay.

How Whop Refunds and Disputes Work

3. 3.The seller has 7 days to accept, deny, or ask for more information.
